Living in an age when the natural rights of men were hotly debated the world over, the Founding Fathers had an enormous task before them once the War for Independence was won. They had fought based on a set of principles, and now they had to establish rule based on the same. The product of this quandary is the Constitution of the United States of America, the document which lays down the foundation upon which the entire American legal system is based.
